This is a subreddit for discussing spiritual emergencies, which happen when ones spiritual development happens at such a rapid and concentrated pace that it reaches a level of crisis. Often confused with psychiatric illness, spiritual emergencies may exhibit many of the same symptoms, but should be handled very differently.
