A community for Hiker Trash to share and discover meals for backpacking trips. This is not a community for cast iron pans or meals that require a campfire. Hiker Trash ranging from dirt poor to master trail chef are invited to share their trade secrets. Please confine recipes to meals that will work for a long distance hike in packability, weight of carry, ease of readiness and tasty, tasty goodness.
