Co-operatives are falsely, contrary to actual historical socialist precedent, presented as being the kernel of a socialist order. In this subreddit, we demonstrate that co-operatives are in fact fundamentally market-based entities, and thus essentially ANTI-socialist associations, only made socialist by socialist hampering ELIMINATING the worker control over them. Whenever someone claims that "socialism is when you have workplace democracy/co-operatives", just write r/CoopsAreNotSocialist!
