Master Yin Guang was a famous Qing dynasty and early Republic Dharma Master who revitalised Pure Land Buddhism during the chaos of the post revolution interwar years. His lineage is carried on by Master Chin Kung and his disciples. He is also considered to be a manifestation of Great Strength Bodhisattva. In addition to Pure Land works, he endorsed a number of Taoist teachings on Karma such as the Kan Yin Pien due to their succinctness and educational value.
