Breakbeat Hardcore is the genre of music that defined the early 90's U.K. rave scene. In its time, it was usually referred to as "Jungle Techno." It evolved from House and Techno, adding breakbeats and faster tempos. After about 1994 it nearly completely disappeared, evolving again into Jungle and Drum & Bass.
