Belize (formerly British Honduras, and before that, the Mayan provinces of Chetumal and Dzuluinicob) is a small Central American country, bordered by Mexico, Guatemala and the Caribbean sea, inhabited by approximately 400,000 people of primarily mixed Mestizo, Creole, Mayan and European descent.
