It took me more than 3 years to finish Sweetness & Lightning. Among many reasons, this show often fell off my priority list because of how brutally sad it is. 70% of it is about food, but the rest is constant reminders of the loss of the wife and mother. You will cry watching it.

It’s pretty simple: The Worthless “Appraiser” anime is really fun when the girls and their quirks are involved, and really boring if they’re not. Fortunately those latter moments were very few. This show is well-written and has great main characters. I hope for a S2. 7/10

Catcher in the Ballpark is so fun. Ruriko calling her mom to see if she was the mascot had me rolling on the floor. Also apparently there’s an MLB team in SD called the Beggars.

Kuro Red will have to defeat the mom-loving demon and the clown with the zanpakuto and save boobilcious Yihdra in the Red Ranger anime finale next week. I know, it’s a little strange.

This NEET Kunoichi anime is insane. Their faces get me all the time. This show, of all shows, will continue into next season. So far I enjoy it every week, despite the dumb sh*t it sometimes is full of!

Can a Boy-Girl Friendship Survive? is gonna touch a nerve in a lot of people. The debut felt a little odd, but was funny, had nice artwork, and introduced all of the main characters. I wasn’t blown away, but I liked it overall.

Doctor Salamandra from Moonrise. Yeah she gets my heart beating faster.

Moonrise was another story that fell victim to too many unmanageable plot threads. Even the great characters were ultimately overshadowed by the messy story. The artwork was the standout. The vocals were great too, especially Aina (Mary). Good but could’ve been great. 7.5/10

I thought I’d spied some Lycoris Recoil posts today. Looks like this series is presenting us with a handful of mini 2 minute episodes. Animation and voice acting never disappoint in this anime.

I can confirm that no slimes were harmed in the making of ep1 of I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years S2–though I don’t know why. I’d forgotten how unreasonably entertaining this anime is.
